Mike has worked as a consultant or full time employee with such firms as WorldVentures/DreamTrips International, Integrity Directional Services, Mavenir Systems, First Choice Emergency Room (Adeptus), EDS (Electronic Data Systems), Ernst & Young, Goodman Networks, Blue Star Sports, and Nerium International (now Neora International). Mike has helped these firms with specialized transactions, multi-national audit prep, statutory audits/tax filings, VAT/GST submissions, project management, cash flow modeling, financial reporting, intercompany reconciliations, month end closing, process documentation/evaluation, acquisition journal entries (Goodwill), balance sheet validation, transfer pricing, international management allocations, and knowledge capture. He has experience with internal controls and SOX documentation at Goodman Networks, Adeptus, and Mavenir Systems during new system implementations and the S-1 filing process. Mike has also worked with investment bankers and completed a Quality of Earnings report while working at WorldVentures.
Mike’s diversified career in financial services also includes experience as an Accountant, Director of Finance, Controller, VP Accounting & International Finance for such companies as the FDIC, Just Brakes, Net-Strike Worldwide, Stratmark, and Texas Oil & Gas.

Mike graduated from the University of North Texas in 1988 with a B.S. in Accounting and obtained his Certified Public Accountant certification in 1991.
Mike joined Financial Executives International (FEI) in 2007. In May 2008, he accepted a position to the Board of the Dallas Chapter of FEI as vice-chairman of the Membership Committee. In May 2009, he became chairman of the Sponsorship Committee and held that position until May 2019.
